PalmerGrip has been producing roll-formed shapes for many years, currently specializing in roll-formed rings. We design and produce all tooling in house for both symmetrical and non-symmetrical ring in different usage.

Custom roll-formed rings and straight shapes are made from various materials with thicknesses ranging from 0.020 to 0.186 inch.

12 inch maximum (flat)

Diameter:

Five inch minimum (dependent upon material, thickness and complexity of shape) to 25 inch maximum (limited by inspection capability).

Advantages:

Once the shape is established, range of diameters is virtually infinite, since parts are "coiled to size" on the rolling mill. If the desired shape were to be stamped, a new set of tooling would be required to produce each size.
